Short answer: not directly. There is no official Kubera MCP server as of this writing, so an AI assistant can't connect to Kubera and pull your net worth dashboard on its own. If you want an AI assistant to actually reason about what's in your accounts, the practical path today is to connect your underlying bank, brokerage, and card accounts to Truthifi. Truthifi exposes that data to your AI assistant over MCP, so it's readable by a model instead of only a dashboard, with data refreshed daily rather than live.
What Kubera Does
Kubera is a net worth and portfolio tracking app. People use it to pull together bank accounts, brokerage and investment holdings, real estate, crypto, and other assets into a single dashboard, then watch that total net worth move over time. It's built around aggregation: Kubera itself connects out to banks and brokerages to pull in balances, so it functions as a personal-finance aggregator and dashboard layer rather than as a custodial account that holds money directly. If you already use Kubera to categorize spending and track where your assets sit, you've effectively built a manual version of the "whole picture" view that an AI assistant would need in order to answer questions about your finances.
Does Kubera Have an MCP Server or API?
There is no official Kubera MCP server as of this writing. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the emerging standard that lets AI assistants connect to outside tools and data sources in a structured way, and plenty of financial platforms are adding support for it, but Kubera has not published one that we can confirm. Should Kubera release one, we'll revise this page accordingly. We're not aware of a public developer API for Kubera either, so we're not going to describe one here.
What this means practically: today, there is no supported way for a general-purpose AI assistant to connect straight to Kubera and ask it questions the way you might ask it to read a document or query a database. The gap isn't your data, since Kubera already has it organized. The gap is a bridge between that organized picture and an AI assistant that can reason over it.
How to Set Up AI Access to Your Real Accounts (Via Truthifi)
Since Kubera itself doesn't expose an MCP connection, the setup here is about connecting the underlying accounts you'd otherwise track in Kubera to Truthifi instead, so your AI assistant can read them directly.
Create a free Truthifi account. This is separate from your Kubera login.
Link your bank, brokerage, and card accounts to Truthifi. You connect through Truthifi's own aggregation partners, entering your bank credentials with the aggregator, not with Truthifi.
Let Truthifi pull in balances, holdings, and transactions. This builds the same kind of net worth and account picture you already see in Kubera.
Connect your AI assistant to Truthifi. Authorize the connection from inside Truthifi so your assistant is granted access to your linked accounts.
Ask your AI assistant questions about your real accounts. It can now reference your actual balances and holdings instead of guessing or asking you to paste numbers in.
Revoke access any time. If you ever want to disconnect an agent, you can do it from inside Truthifi's connection settings.
What You Can Ask Once It's Connected
Once your accounts are linked through Truthifi, an AI assistant can work with the kind of picture Kubera has always shown you, but now as something it can reason about on demand. A Kubera user who's spent time categorizing spending and tagging assets is already most of the way to this, since the organizing work is familiar. What's different is having an assistant that can cross-reference that picture against your investments and your overall net worth without you building a new dashboard.
Examples of the kind of questions this opens up:
"What's my current net worth across all my linked accounts?"
"How much of my net worth is sitting in cash versus invested?"
"Did anything unusual happen in my spending this month?"
"How concentrated is my portfolio in any single holding?"
With & Without Truthifi
Without Truthifi: Kubera shows you a net worth dashboard you check and interpret yourself. If you want an AI assistant's help, you're stuck manually describing numbers to it or exporting data by hand. The assistant has no way to read your actual account data unless you connect it.
With Truthifi: your AI assistant can read your linked bank, brokerage, and card accounts directly, the same accounts that would otherwise feed a dashboard like Kubera's, and answer questions grounded in real, current numbers instead of what you remember or paste in.
How Truthifi Can Help
Truthifi doesn't replace Kubera, and it isn't trying to rebuild what Kubera already does well for net worth tracking. Instead, Truthifi fills the specific gap Kubera leaves open: making your real account data readable by an AI assistant. Truthifi reaches your financial picture by reading the underlying bank, brokerage, and card accounts you link directly to Truthifi, not by connecting to Kubera itself. That means the AI-readiness layer exists independent of whichever dashboard app you happen to use on top of it.
FAQ
Does Kubera have an official MCP server? No. There is no official Kubera MCP server as of this writing.
Does Kubera have a public API? We're not aware of a public developer API for Kubera. If you've found one, treat any third-party integration built on it with the same caution you'd apply to any financial data connection.
Can my AI assistant see my Kubera account data directly? Not directly, since there's no Kubera MCP connection available. What it can see is the underlying bank, brokerage, and card accounts you link to Truthifi, which gives a comparable real-account picture.
Is my Kubera login shared with Truthifi? Truthifi doesn't connect to Kubera at all, so there's nothing to share there. When you link your own bank and brokerage accounts to Truthifi, you enter those credentials with Truthifi's aggregation partner, not with Truthifi directly.
Will this page be updated if Kubera releases an MCP server? Yes. This page reflects Kubera's MCP and API status as of this writing and will be revised if that changes.
