If you were hoping to point an AI assistant at your moomoo account today, here's the honest state of things: moomoo does not publish an official MCP server, and moomoo is not yet one of the institutions Truthifi connects to. So there isn't a working path — through moomoo directly or through Truthifi — to get your moomoo positions into an AI assistant's hands right now.

That's worth saying plainly up front rather than walking you through steps that don't actually end in a connected moomoo account. Truthifi is continually adding new institutions to the list it can connect to, so that could change. But nothing here should be read as a promise of when, or that it's "coming soon."

What you can do today is make sure your AI assistant has a real, current view of everything else in your financial life — bank accounts, other brokerages, cards, retirement accounts — so it isn't working blind while you wait on moomoo support. That's the gap this page can actually help you close right now.

What moomoo does

Moomoo is a brokerage platform used for trading stocks, options, and other securities, with research and charting tools built around the trading experience. For someone trying to get an AI assistant to reason about their full financial picture, moomoo would normally be where a slice of investable assets lives — positions, cash balances, and trade history. Today, that slice just isn't visible to an AI assistant through Truthifi.

Does moomoo have an MCP server or public API?

No official moomoo MCP server exists as of this writing. We're also not aware of a public developer API from moomoo suitable for this kind of account-data access. If you've seen a claim otherwise, treat it with caution until it's confirmed in moomoo's own documentation.

Is moomoo connected through Truthifi?

Not yet. Truthifi connects to institutions through aggregator partners and exposes that data, read-only, to any MCP-compatible AI assistant — but moomoo isn't currently on that list of connectable institutions. There's no workaround or aggregator flow today that gets a moomoo account into Truthifi, and this page won't pretend otherwise. Truthifi adds new institutions on an ongoing basis, so it's worth checking back, but we're not going to put a date on it here.

What you can do in the meantime

Most people who use moomoo also have a bank account, another brokerage, credit cards, or retirement accounts sitting elsewhere. Those you can connect to Truthifi today, which means your AI assistant can still see a meaningful, current picture of your finances — just without the moomoo piece for now.

  1. Create a free Truthifi account. This is where you'll manage which accounts are connected and which AI assistants can see them.

  2. Connect the accounts you do hold elsewhere. From Connections, link your bank, other brokerage, card, or retirement accounts through Truthifi's aggregator partners.

  3. Confirm your balances and holdings pulled in correctly against your actual accounts.

  4. Open your AI assistant's connector or integrations settings (for example in Meta Muse) and add the Truthifi MCP connection.

  5. Select Authorize to grant the assistant read-only access to the accounts you've connected in Truthifi.

  6. Ask your assistant a question that touches one of those accounts to confirm it's seeing current data, not a stale snapshot.

What you can ask

Once the connection is live for the accounts you have connected, you can ask things like:

  • "What are my current holdings across the brokerage accounts I've connected, and how large is each position relative to my whole portfolio?"

  • "Has anything in my connected accounts changed since last week?"

  • "What's my total exposure to [a given stock or sector] across the accounts I've connected?"

Notice these questions are scoped to accounts Truthifi actually connects. Anything involving moomoo specifically still has to be handled by hand — checking moomoo's own app and factoring it in yourself — until moomoo is connectable.

With and without Truthifi

Without Truthifi, your AI assistant only knows what you tell it, for every account, moomoo included. You're manually typing in balances, copying numbers from a statement, or pasting a screenshot and hoping the assistant reads it correctly. Any cross-account analysis has to be done by hand, and it's out of date as soon as something changes.

With Truthifi, the accounts you've connected — bank, other brokerages, cards, retirement — are linked once, and from then on your AI assistant can query real, read-only balances, holdings, and transactions across each of them, subject to the sharing permissions you've set for that assistant. Your moomoo account just isn't part of that picture yet.

Moomoo is good at what it does: order execution, charting, research. Truthifi isn't trying to replace that. Right now, it's the layer that lets an AI assistant see what your other accounts hold, while moomoo connectivity remains on the list of things to come.

How Truthifi can help

Truthifi exists to give your AI assistant a single, read-only view of your real financial accounts instead of forcing you to narrate your own finances to it one screenshot at a time. Connecting your bank, brokerage, card, and retirement accounts through Truthifi today means your assistant can reason about a large share of your actual financial picture. It can check for overlap across those accounts and flag changes, all without you manually updating anything, even while moomoo isn't yet part of that view. Truthifi is not an investment adviser and doesn't give investment, tax or legal advice.

FAQ

Does moomoo work with Truthifi today? No. Moomoo has no official MCP server, and it isn't currently one of the institutions Truthifi connects to. There's no aggregator path to it yet.

Will moomoo be supported eventually? Possibly — Truthifi continually adds new institutions. We can't commit to a timeline, and this page will be updated if that changes.

What can I do in the meantime? Connect the other financial accounts you hold — bank, other brokerages, cards, retirement — to Truthifi so your AI assistant can see a fuller picture of your finances today, even without moomoo in it.

Is the connection read-only? Yes, for the bank and brokerage accounts Truthifi actually connects. Your AI assistant can see the data; it can't place trades or move money. This doesn't apply to moomoo since moomoo isn't connected.

Does Truthifi see my login credentials for the accounts I connect? No. Credentials are entered with the aggregator partner Truthifi uses to connect those accounts, not with Truthifi, and Truthifi never receives, sees, or stores them.

If moomoo gets connected later, will I need to do anything differently? This page will be updated with setup steps if and when moomoo becomes a connectable institution. Until then, there's nothing to configure for it.
