Short answer: not directly. There is no official Rocket Money MCP server as of this writing, so an AI assistant can't plug into Rocket Money itself and pull your categorized spending or subscription list. But the accounts Rocket Money organizes — your checking, savings, credit cards and investment accounts — can be made visible to an AI assistant today, by connecting those same underlying accounts to Truthifi. Rocket Money gives you the categorized view. Truthifi gives your AI assistant the underlying picture, including the investment and net-worth side Rocket Money doesn't cover.
What Rocket Money does
Rocket Money is a budgeting and personal-finance-management app. It links to your bank and card accounts, categorizes your transactions, tracks subscriptions, and helps you find and cancel recurring charges you no longer want. It's built to answer "where is my money going" and "what am I paying for," and it does that by aggregating your transaction data into dashboards and alerts.
Because Rocket Money is itself an aggregator of your spending data, it sits in a different role than a bank or brokerage. It is the thing showing you your accounts, not the account itself. That distinction matters for what an MCP connection could and couldn't do.
Does Rocket Money have an MCP server or API?
There is no official Rocket Money MCP server as of this writing. Rocket Money has not published a server implementing the Model Context Protocol that would let an AI assistant query its categorized spending or subscription data directly.
Should that status change, we'll revise this page accordingly, but for now any claim of an official Rocket Money MCP server should be treated with caution.
How Truthifi gets your AI assistant a picture that includes your Rocket Money accounts
Because Rocket Money isn't a custodial account itself, Truthifi doesn't connect to Rocket Money directly. Instead, Truthifi reaches the same underlying bank, brokerage and card accounts you've already linked in Rocket Money by having you connect them straight to Truthifi. Once those accounts are connected, Truthifi can make a read-only, structured view of them available to your AI assistant through Truthifi's own MCP server. That view also covers the parts of your financial life Rocket Money doesn't track, like brokerage holdings and overall net worth.
Setup steps:
Create a free Truthifi account. Sign up at Truthifi using your email.
Connect your bank and brokerage accounts. Link the same checking, savings, credit card and investment accounts you use with Rocket Money. Your login credentials are entered with the account aggregator, not Truthifi.
Let Truthifi build your account picture. Truthifi pulls balances, holdings and transactions from the accounts you connected and runs its diagnostic checks.
Connect your AI assistant to Truthifi. In your AI assistant or agent platform, add Truthifi as a connector using Truthifi's MCP server.
Authorize the connection. When prompted, select Authorize to grant your assistant read access to your Truthifi-connected accounts.
Put questions about your accounts to your assistant. Your AI assistant can now reason over your real account data, refreshed automatically once a day or on demand for 3 credits.
What you can ask once it's connected
A Rocket Money user already knows how to ask "what did I spend on subscriptions this month." The gap Rocket Money leaves is an AI assistant that can reason across everything else. That means your investments, your net worth, and how spending patterns interact with the rest of your financial picture. Once your accounts are connected through Truthifi, you can ask your assistant things like:
"What's my total net worth across all my linked accounts?"
"How concentrated is my portfolio in any one stock or sector?"
"Are there fees in my investment accounts I should know about?"
"How does my cash position compare to my investment balances right now?"
"Pull together a full picture of my accounts, not just my spending."
These are questions Rocket Money's categorized-spending view isn't built to answer, because Rocket Money doesn't aggregate brokerage holdings the way Truthifi does.
With and without Truthifi
Without Truthifi: Your AI assistant has no connection to Rocket Money or to your underlying accounts. Any question about your real balances, holdings or net worth requires you to manually look it up and paste it in, and the assistant has no way to check or refresh that information on its own.
With Truthifi: Your AI assistant can see a structured, read-only view of the bank and brokerage accounts you've connected — the same accounts behind your Rocket Money dashboard — refreshed automatically, and can reason across spending, holdings and net worth together instead of spending alone.
How Truthifi can help
Truthifi doesn't replace Rocket Money. Rocket Money is good at categorizing spending and surfacing subscriptions, and there's no reason to give that up. What Truthifi adds is the connection Rocket Money can't offer today: a way to get your actual account data — including the investment accounts Rocket Money doesn't dig into — into an AI assistant, with diagnostic checks run on top of it and a read-only connection that keeps your login credentials with the aggregator, not with Truthifi. Truthifi is not an investment adviser and doesn't give investment, tax or legal advice.
FAQ
Does Rocket Money have an official MCP server? No. There is no official Rocket Money MCP server as of this writing.
Can my AI assistant see my Rocket Money dashboard or categorized spending directly? Not through Truthifi. Truthifi doesn't connect to Rocket Money itself. It connects to the underlying bank, brokerage and card accounts you link directly to Truthifi, which are the same accounts behind your Rocket Money view.
Is my Rocket Money login shared with Truthifi? Truthifi doesn't connect to Rocket Money at all, so there's nothing to share. Your Truthifi connections are to your bank, brokerage and card accounts, entered with the account aggregator, not with Truthifi.
Will Truthifi read my subscriptions and spending categories the way Rocket Money does? No. Truthifi reads your underlying account balances, holdings and transactions. It doesn't replicate Rocket Money's subscription-tracking or categorization features.
What happens if Rocket Money releases an official MCP server? This page will be updated if and when that happens. Today, there's no official Rocket Money MCP server to connect to.
