Short answer: not directly from TradeStation. There is no official TradeStation MCP server as of this writing, so an AI assistant can't connect to TradeStation on its own and read your positions. But you don't need to wait on TradeStation to build one. Through Truthifi, your AI assistant can already see your real TradeStation balances, holdings, and transactions, alongside everything else you hold, because Truthifi reaches TradeStation through its aggregator partners rather than through a TradeStation-built MCP.
What TradeStation does
TradeStation is a brokerage. It gives active traders and investors a platform for placing trades, running charting and analysis tools, and holding brokerage accounts across equities, options, futures, and other instruments. If you use TradeStation, your positions, trade history, and account balances live in TradeStation's own systems, visible when you log in to the platform directly.
That's the core of what TradeStation is built to do. It is not built to let an outside AI assistant read your account automatically, and that's a different job entirely.
Does TradeStation have an MCP server or API?
No official TradeStation MCP server exists as of this writing. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the emerging standard that lets AI assistants connect directly to a service's data, and TradeStation has not published one. If that changes, this page will be updated to reflect it, but until there's a verifiable source confirming an official server, none should be assumed.
A public developer API is a separate question from MCP, and this page does not assert one exists for TradeStation unless it can be confirmed. If you're looking for programmatic access to your TradeStation account outside of Truthifi, check TradeStation's own developer documentation directly, since that is the authoritative source either way.
The practical result is the same regardless: today, there's no out-of-the-box way for ChatGPT, Claude, Meta Muse, or any other AI assistant to query TradeStation on its own. Truthifi closes that gap, not by building a TradeStation MCP, but by connecting to TradeStation through its aggregator partners and exposing that data to your AI through Truthifi's own layer.
How to connect your TradeStation account through Truthifi
Create a free Truthifi account. Signing up is the first step toward starting the account-linking flow.
Search for TradeStation and start the link. Truthifi routes the connection through its aggregator partners, not through a TradeStation-built MCP.
Log in to TradeStation on the aggregator's own screen. You enter your TradeStation credentials with the aggregator, never with Truthifi directly.
Authorize the connection. Review what's being shared and select Authorize to complete the link.
Confirm your TradeStation accounts appear in Truthifi. Balances, holdings, and transaction history should populate shortly after linking.
Connect your AI assistant to Truthifi. Once your AI assistant is connected, it can read your TradeStation data, read-only, as part of your full financial picture.
Put a question about your accounts to your AI assistant. From there, your assistant can reference real TradeStation positions in its answers.
What you can ask once it's connected
Once TradeStation is linked through Truthifi and your AI assistant is connected, you can ask it things like:
"What are my current positions in TradeStation, and what's my total exposure to any single stock?"
"Do any of my TradeStation holdings overlap with funds I hold in my other brokerage or retirement accounts?"
"How has my TradeStation account balance changed over the past few months?"
"If I combine my TradeStation positions with my other accounts, how concentrated am I in any one sector?"
That overlap question is the one a lot of active traders can't easily answer on their own. TradeStation shows you what's inside TradeStation. It doesn't know what else you're holding at another brokerage, in a 401(k), or in a bank account, so it can't tell you how a trade in TradeStation changes your total exposure. An AI assistant working only from a pasted screenshot has the same blind spot, and the screenshot is a snapshot of one moment, not a living connection.
With and without Truthifi
Without Truthifi, your AI assistant only knows what you tell it. You'd have to manually describe your TradeStation positions, copy numbers over, or paste a screenshot, and that information is stale the moment prices move. The assistant also has no way to cross-reference your TradeStation holdings against anything you hold elsewhere unless you type all of that out too.
With Truthifi, your AI assistant can read your real TradeStation balances, holdings, and transactions directly, alongside your other connected accounts, read-only. Ask it to compare your TradeStation positions against your other brokerage or bank accounts and it can actually do the math, because it has the real data instead of whatever you remembered to mention.
How Truthifi can help
Truthifi connects to TradeStation through its aggregator partners, the same way it connects to thousands of other financial institutions, so you don't need TradeStation to publish its own MCP server to get this working. Your TradeStation login is entered with the aggregator, not with Truthifi, and access to your bank and brokerage accounts through Truthifi stays read-only. Once connected, your AI assistant can reason across TradeStation and every other account you link, rather than seeing TradeStation in isolation.
Truthifi is not an investment adviser and doesn't give investment, tax or legal advice.
FAQ
Does TradeStation have an official MCP server? No. As of this writing, TradeStation has not published an official MCP server, and we'll revise this page if that status changes.
Can my AI assistant read my TradeStation account without Truthifi? Not directly. Without an MCP server or a connection like Truthifi's, an AI assistant has no way to see your real TradeStation positions unless you manually enter or paste the information yourself.
Does Truthifi get access to my TradeStation login? No. You log in to TradeStation through Truthifi's aggregator partner, not through Truthifi. Truthifi never receives, sees, or stores your TradeStation username or password.
Is my TradeStation data read-only through Truthifi? Yes. Access to your bank and brokerage accounts, including TradeStation, through Truthifi is read-only.
What can my AI assistant do with my TradeStation data once it's connected? It can reference your real positions, balances, and transaction history, and compare your TradeStation holdings against other accounts you've connected, to answer questions about overlap, exposure, and concentration.
