If you work with a financial advisor, there's a decent chance your plan lives inside eMoney. It's one of the biggest financial planning platforms advisors use to build projections, track goals, and show you the long-term picture. But eMoney is built for your advisor's desk, not your AI assistant's. There is no official eMoney MCP server as of this writing, so an AI assistant can't connect to eMoney directly and pull your plan data on its own.
That doesn't mean your AI has to stay blind to your money. Truthifi doesn't connect to eMoney itself. Instead, it reads the actual bank, brokerage, and other accounts you link directly to Truthifi, and makes that real account data available to any MCP-capable AI assistant. Your advisor and eMoney handle the planning. Truthifi gives your own AI assistant eyes on the accounts behind that plan.
What eMoney does
eMoney is a financial planning and wealth management platform used primarily by financial advisors and the firms they work for. Advisors use it to aggregate a household's financial picture, build cash-flow and retirement projections, model scenarios like a home purchase or early retirement, and present an ongoing financial plan to clients. It's a B2B platform: advisors and planning teams are the primary users, and clients typically see eMoney through a client portal or in meetings with their advisor, rather than logging in and managing accounts themselves the way they would with a bank or brokerage app.
Because eMoney sits on the advisor side of the relationship, it's a planning and aggregation tool for the practice, not a consumer account platform in the way a bank or brokerage is. That distinction shapes what an AI assistant can and can't do with it.
Does eMoney have an MCP server or public API?
There is no official eMoney MCP server as of this writing. eMoney has not published a Model Context Protocol server that would let an AI assistant connect directly and query plan data, account balances, or projections. This page will be revised if that changes.
eMoney does offer integrations and data connections that advisory firms use to pull custodial and account data into the planning process. These are built for advisor firms and their technology stacks, not for an individual client to connect their own AI assistant. There is no consumer-facing developer API that would let you, personally, authorize an AI assistant to read your eMoney plan.
The practical result: today, an AI assistant has no direct, supported way to see what's inside your eMoney plan.
How to set up AI access to your financial accounts with Truthifi
Since eMoney itself isn't something you connect your AI to, the path to an AI-readable view of your money runs through the actual accounts behind your plan. Here's what that looks like in practice with Truthifi.
Create a free Truthifi account. This is separate from eMoney and from your advisor's systems.
Link your bank, brokerage, and other financial accounts to Truthifi. These are the same kinds of accounts your advisor's eMoney plan is modeling, just connected directly by you.
Let Truthifi run its account checks. Truthifi reviews what's actually in your linked accounts, including fees, holdings, and exposure.
Connect an MCP-capable AI assistant to Truthifi. Authorize the assistant from your Truthifi account settings.
Ask your AI assistant about your real accounts. It now has a current, read-only view of the accounts you linked, independent of eMoney.
What you can ask
Once your AI assistant is connected through Truthifi, you can ask it things like:
"Summarize the fees across all my accounts this year."
"How concentrated am I in any single stock or sector right now?"
"What's changed in my accounts since my last advisor meeting?"
"Pull together a plain-language summary of my current holdings I can bring to my advisor."
"Are there any accounts I haven't looked at in a while?"
None of these questions are answered by eMoney directly, because eMoney isn't something you or your AI assistant can query. They're answered by Truthifi reading the actual accounts you've linked.
With eMoney alone vs. with Truthifi added
With eMoney alone: Your advisor builds and maintains your financial plan inside eMoney. You see projections, scenarios, and a long-term picture, usually through your advisor or a client portal. Your AI assistant has no access to any of it, because eMoney has no official MCP server and isn't a consumer platform you connect to yourself.
With Truthifi added: Your advisor keeps using eMoney exactly as before for planning. Separately, you link your own accounts to Truthifi, and your AI assistant gets a read-only, real-time view of those accounts, available whenever you want to ask a question, not just at your next advisor meeting.
How Truthifi can help
Truthifi doesn't try to replace eMoney or your advisor's planning process. It fills a different gap: giving you, the household, your own AI-readable window into the accounts your advisor is planning around. Because Truthifi reads your bank, brokerage, and other linked accounts directly rather than depending on eMoney, it works whether or not your advisor's firm ever adopts an MCP integration of its own.
That also means Truthifi's view isn't limited to whatever's inside one advisor's plan. If you have accounts your advisor doesn't manage, old retirement accounts, another brokerage, accounts held jointly with a partner, Truthifi can bring those into the same AI-readable picture, something a single advisor's eMoney plan may not fully capture. Truthifi is not an investment adviser and doesn't give investment, tax or legal advice.
FAQ
Does eMoney have an official MCP server? No. There is no official eMoney MCP server as of this writing. eMoney hasn't published a Model Context Protocol integration for AI assistants.
Can my AI assistant log into eMoney directly? No. eMoney is a B2B planning platform used by advisors, not a consumer account you log into and connect an AI assistant to yourself.
If eMoney doesn't have an MCP, how does Truthifi give my AI access to my financial picture? Truthifi doesn't connect to eMoney at all. It reads the bank, brokerage, and other accounts you link directly to Truthifi, and makes that account data available to an MCP-capable AI assistant you authorize.
Will this replace my advisor or my eMoney-based plan? No. Your advisor's planning work in eMoney continues as-is. Truthifi adds an AI-readable layer on top of your own linked accounts, alongside that plan, not instead of it.
What if eMoney releases an MCP server in the future? This page will be updated if and when eMoney publishes an official MCP server or developer API that changes what's possible.
