Your AI assistant can only reason about the accounts you let it see. When your AI reads Revolut activity through Truthifi, it works from decoded, reconciled data rather than raw bank codes. Below we look at whether a Revolut MCP server exists, how to set up a Revolut AI assistant, and how to connect Revolut to AI more broadly. It takes no code, is free to start, and takes a few minutes. What is an MCP?
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the plug between an AI assistant and your Revolut data. Instead of you copy-pasting balances and transactions, the assistant reads them through a connection you grant. Anthropic introduced it as an open standard, and OpenAI and others have since adopted it, so more and more AI assistants can speak it. Through Truthifi, that plug is applied to your Revolut data: Truthifi refreshes connected accounts on its own schedule, and you can revoke access anytime via Connections → Agents → Revoke. Revolut has no official MCP, and community-built servers set their own refresh and access behaviour. For the wider picture, see how Truthifi's MCP connector works.
Does Revolut have an MCP server?
No official MCP server has been shipped or announced by Revolut Ltd as of October 6, 2026. According to Revolut's developer documentation, Revolut does expose publicly documented APIs: the Revolut Business API, the Revolut Merchant API, and the Revolut X crypto exchange API. A handful of community-built MCP servers targeting these have appeared on GitHub. The descriptions below are as each repo describes itself; Truthifi has not audited these projects:
jeff-nasseri/revolut-mcp, the most visible community project; individual user, unaffiliated with Revolut
Bilel-Eljaamii/revolutx-mcp, targets the Revolut X API; individual user project
Blackhex/revolut-x-mcp, Revolut X API connector; individual user project
otela/revolut-mcp, organisation-owned; we found no stated Revolut affiliation
Vinsdef87/revolut-remote-mcp, described as targeting the Revolut Business API; individual user project
Sherman-Studio/revolut-merchant-mcp, described as targeting the Revolut Merchant API; org-owned but not Revolut's org
Two things to know about these projects:
They're built for developers: expect API keys, config-file editing, and no browser-based setup.
They read Revolut data only. That's useful for business or crypto use cases, but they don't reach your accounts outside Revolut. A Revolut X server, for instance, can see your crypto trades but not the pension or ISA you hold elsewhere, so an AI can't weigh one against the other in the same conversation.

What Revolut does
Revolut is a financial super-app founded in 2015 in London, serving more than 75 million customers worldwide, according to Revolut.1 It aims to bring a wide range of financial services into a single app:
Multi-currency accounts: hold, convert, and spend in a wide range of currencies at or near interbank exchange rates, within plan limits, for both personal and business customers.
International money transfers: send money globally across a large number of currencies.
Instant Access Savings: variable-rate AER interest paid daily, with rates that vary by plan.
Debit cards: physical and virtual, with RevPoints rewards redeemable for airline miles.
Commission-free stock and ETF investing: 5,000+ instruments within a monthly allowance; trades outside the allowance carry a per-trade fee that varies by plan. Confirm the current rate for your plan at revolut.com.
Cryptocurrency: buy, sell, and exchange crypto via Revolut X.
AIR: Revolut's own in-app 24/7 AI assistant for account queries and actions.
Revolut Secure: a proactive fraud and security protection suite.
Kids & Teens accounts with parental controls.
Business banking: expense management, payroll, invoicing, and multi-user access.
Travel insurance and lifestyle perks on paid plans.
Revolut runs a Free Standard tier alongside paid Plus, Premium, Metal, and Ultra plans. Savings rates and stock-trading charges vary by plan; confirm current specifics at revolut.com.
Common questions with neobank super-apps
These questions come up regularly with neobank super-apps like Revolut, along with where people turn for answers:2
Account access. Automated fraud and compliance checks are a structural feature of any regulated financial institution, and Revolut states they are intended to protect customers. If a check leaves you unsure what happened, Revolut's in-app support and, for UK customers, the Financial Ombudsman, are the formal routes to a clear answer.
Customer support reach. For complex issues, the intended path is escalating within the app to a human agent; the Revolut Community and r/Revolut can offer peer guidance in the meantime.
Understanding fees. Checking the plan comparison before converting large amounts over a weekend can help you avoid an unexpected charge.
Regulatory protections. According to Revolut, it was granted a UK banking licence with restrictions in July 2024. This page's October 2026 review did not confirm whether those restrictions have since been lifted, so check the FCA register or revolut.com for current status and deposit protection.
Crypto withdrawals. Revolut documents its crypto withdrawal terms in-app, including any limits that can apply during high-volume or compliance review periods. Confirm current limits there before you rely on a withdrawal.
The bigger picture. Revolut's in-app analytics and AIR answer questions about money held at Revolut; they aren't built to see balances held elsewhere. If you also hold an investment ISA, pension, mortgage, or accounts at legacy banks, a cross-institution view is where we come in.

Revolut API: getting your Revolut data for AI
Does Revolut have an API? Yes: the Revolut Business API, the Revolut Merchant API, and the Revolut X crypto exchange API are publicly documented at developer.revolut.com, but each is a developer API that requires code. Connecting Revolut through Truthifi gives your AI assistant read-only, programmatic access to your Revolut account data over MCP (the Model Context Protocol). In practice it's the "Revolut API" for AI: no code and no official Revolut API required. Your assistant can query balances, holdings, and transactions across Revolut and your other connected accounts in one view. Connect Revolut to your AI →
How Truthifi can help
Truthifi puts your linked accounts, including Revolut, in one view your AI can reason about. It supports accounts across 18,000+ institutions,2 reading directly from your institutions through leading bank aggregators. It's also an independent source: Truthifi earns no commissions, runs no ads, and gives no advice (how Truthifi works). Truthifi's Refinery decodes, corrects, and reconciles balances and transactions, so your AI works from clean, consistent numbers rather than a raw feed.
Take a Revolut user on a paid plan who keeps sterling, euro, and dollar pockets and invests through Revolut's commission-free stock allowance. Day-to-day spending runs through those pockets, spare cash sits in Instant Access Savings, and a few ETFs get bought inside the monthly allowance. Outside Revolut sit a Stocks and Shares ISA at Hargreaves Lansdown, a workplace pension, a repayment mortgage, and a legacy current account. The question "given all of it, what's my actual net worth, and am I on track?" usually lives across four or five separate logins. Connect those accounts alongside Revolut, and the AI can answer it in one conversation.
For a multi-currency holder, net worth isn't one number until someone picks a base currency and a conversion moment. Your Revolut pockets hold balances in their own currencies, while your ISA and pension report in pounds, so the total shifts with the exchange rate and the day the conversion uses. Asking your AI to state the base currency and rate behind its total is a cheap way to catch a misleading figure.
With both Revolut and your other institutions in front of your AI, you can ask questions that span them. Real examples:
"I've saved £400 more in Revolut Savings this month, given my ISA and pension, does that move my retirement date?"
"My Revolut stock allowance resets next week. Across my connected investments, where am I most overweight?"
"If I move £300 a month from my Revolut spending categories into my ISA, what does that do to my net worth over 10 years?"
On scope: Truthifi covers investments, net worth, and cross-account data, while your day-to-day Revolut spending, in-app AI (AIR), and the Revolut app itself stay as they are. Your Revolut setup stays as it is; Truthifi is a complementary read-only, cross-account, decoded layer on top.
Is it safe to connect my accounts?
These protections are built into the architecture, not just stated as policy:
Read-only by architecture. Truthifi can't move money, place trades, or change a setting. That constraint lives in the connection itself, not in the terms of service.
Your credentials don't pass through Truthifi, by design. Your login is encrypted in your browser and passed straight to leading bank aggregators, which return a read-only token.
Bank-grade encryption in transit and at rest, a widely used encryption standard in financial services.
You control access per account and can revoke it anytime, in your assistant's connector settings or inside Truthifi via Connections → Agents → Revoke.

How to connect your accounts to your AI assistant
Setup runs entirely in your browser, with no command line, on MCP-capable assistants that support custom connectors. Step-by-step guides for other institutions live in our connect guides.
Create a free Truthifi account at truthifi.com, no credit card for the free tier.
Link your accounts: your Revolut account, plus your ISA, pension, legacy bank, mortgage, and any other institutions, through Truthifi's secure connection via leading bank aggregators.
Turn on MCP access: connecting your own AI assistant via MCP works on current consumer plans, including free ones. A free portfolio-analysis scan is included on the free tier, and the full diagnostic suite is part of the paid Monitoring plan ($8.99/mo or $79.99/yr as of October 2026).
Add Truthifi to your assistant. The connector URL is the same across supported assistants: https://api.truthifi.com/mcp. In your AI assistant, open its connector settings (usually Settings → Connectors), add a custom connector named Truthifi, paste the URL, and authorize. (Most assistants require a paid plan for custom connectors.)
Turn it on and ask: "What's my net worth across my connected accounts, and am I on track to retire?" Then run the fee test: "Compare what I pay on Revolut trades outside my allowance with the fund charges in my ISA."
What you can ask your AI
"What's my net worth across my connected accounts today?"
"Am I saving enough to retire on schedule?"
"What did I spend last month, and is that more than usual?"
"Which of my investments are costing me the most in fees?"
"Where am I most concentrated across my connected accounts?"
"If I increase my ISA contribution by £200 a month, what does that do to my 10-year net worth?"
Common questions about Revolut
Does Revolut have an official MCP server? No official MCP server has been shipped or announced by Revolut Ltd as of October 6, 2026. Community-built repos such as jeff-nasseri/revolut-mcp exist on GitHub, but they target Revolut's Business, Merchant, and Revolut X APIs, require a developer setup, and see only your Revolut data. Pairing one with a connector like Truthifi brings the rest of your accounts into the same AI view.
Is Revolut safe to use? Revolut is a regulated financial app; according to Revolut, it received a UK banking licence with restrictions in July 2024. Our October 2026 review did not confirm whether those restrictions have since been lifted; check the FCA register or revolut.com for current status. Its security suite (Revolut Secure) includes proactive fraud protection. For what protections apply to deposits, confirm the current status directly at revolut.com.
Why might a Revolut account be frozen? Automated compliance and fraud-monitoring systems are a structural feature of regulated financial institutions, and Revolut states they exist to protect customers. The in-app support pathway and, for UK customers, the Financial Ombudsman Service are the formal routes for resolving a specific situation.
Are there alternatives to Revolut? Other neobanks and traditional banks offer current accounts, savings, and payments. If what you actually want is an AI that can see your whole financial life, Revolut included, alongside your ISA, pension, and other accounts, that's a connector like Truthifi on top of the accounts you already hold, not a different bank.
Do I need to write code to set up Truthifi? No. Setup runs entirely in your browser, with no command line, API keys, or config files.
Which AI assistants does Truthifi work with? AI assistants that support custom MCP connectors, including assistants from Anthropic and OpenAI. The same connector URL, https://api.truthifi.com/mcp, goes into each of them.
Truthifi and your accounts beyond Revolut
Revolut does what it is built to do well and reports clearly on the accounts it holds. That view is partial by design: held-away retirement accounts, a spouse's brokerage, and accounts at other institutions all fall outside it. For Revolut users, Truthifi is the Universal, Transparent, Portable layer that brings your connected accounts together in one decoded, benchmarked picture, owned by you and ready for your AI, showing what you hold and what it is costing you.
The short version
AIR, Revolut's in-app assistant, answers questions about money held at Revolut; it isn't built to see the ISA, pension, or mortgage you hold elsewhere. The questions that move a household's finances, such as how your euro and dollar pockets and a sterling ISA add up to one net worth, sit across that edge. Setup is free to start and takes a few minutes. Connect Revolut and your other accounts to your AI →
